Weeting Castle

One of the earliest surviving buildings in the Brecks, Weeting Castle is the remains of a medieval hall house built in about 1180.

The rectangular building, which comprised a central aisled hall and a three storey tower standing within a moat, was constructed of mortared flint rubble with limestone cornerstones.
